School Days

School begins at 8:00am

Grades: TK - 2nd dismiss at 1:59pm

Grades 3rd - 6th dismiss at 2:49pm

Every Wednesday is early dismissal at 1:39pm

School Calendar 2018-2019

James Foster school calendar for 2018-2019

The first day of school is Thursday, August 16th at 8:00am

Back-to-School Night for grades 1st-6th will be Tuesday, August 14th at 6:00pm-7:00pm.

TK and K Social date will be announced via email to parents.

If you are planning a vacation and your child will be absent for a minimum of five consecutive school days, we offer an Independent Study Contract. Please notify the office three weeks in advance, allows time for contract and teacher to prepare homework. Upon returning to school the assignments are due, graded and absences may be excused.

Lifetouch School Pictures

If you have questions regarding your child's pictures, please call Lifetouch National School Studios at 661-251-9162.

We will pre-sell 2017-2018 yearbooks twice during the school year. We do not offer yearbooks at the end of the school year in June to purchase. Please pre-order your child(ren) yearbook when it is offered.

What's New

Please call the office the day of your child's absence 661-294-5355. Our office is open from 7:30a - 4p. Parents may also email the office.

Our cafeteria food is provided by SCV Food Services, visit their website to create an online account, pay ahead, download app, get breakfast & lunch menus, and for the application for free and reduced price meals.
